Clans of Ireland – Finte na hÉireann is an Irish registered Charity (Registered Charity Number: 20032111) and an independent permanent authority established in 1989 to register Irish clans and historical families.

Clans of Ireland is accredited as a Civil Society Non-Governmental Organisation by the United Nations.

Our organisation is administered on a completely voluntary basis by our Board of Directors with the approval of registered clans. 

Clans of Ireland is a non-profit organisation and as well as our registration and annual renewal subscriptions, relies on the generosity and good will of our members and supporters to enable us to progress our goals on a sound financial basis and continue to deliver our projects and fulfil our core objects to: 

• Authenticate and register Irish Clans and Historical Families.
• Promote the interests of Irish Clans and Historical Families.
• Provide guidance related to Irish Clans and Historical Families .
